Cycling Success

I admit, I wasn’t sure about this cycling to work. I’d have to get up earlier… what route would I take… where would I shower… Cycle to Work Day was the perfect reason to test it out for the day and I actually really enjoyed it and would do it again. My view (below) certainly beat the sweaty central line.

UAL encouraged staff and students to take part in the Cycle to Work Day which was part of a national campaign and judging by these stats it was pretty successful!

40,631 riders pledged to take part in the day, covering a whopping 1,133,685 miles! That’s an amazing saving of 238,053 kg of CO2 and over half a million pounds!

Well done to everyone who took part and see you at the next one.
