University of the Arts London is committed to reducing our carbon emissions by 80% by 2050 (from the 2011-12 baseline). We achieved our first milestone target of reducing consumption by 22% by July 2016 - we reduced it by 25%! Our next target is a 43% reduction by 2020. As of July 2019 we have reduced it by 41%. The increase in 2017/18 is in due to the new buildings at Camberwell and a very cold winter, followed by a very hot summer.
